Flickr seems useful if you don't have photoshop and it is nice that you can share. I do have a problem with it being so easy to access there does not seem to be any way to prevent anyone accessing your personal pictures (you can browse for pictures without being signed up/in). If you don't use Facebook the sharing component may be of interest though.
You Tube is THE MOST public video sharing tool that I know of. Unfortunately you don't have to give permission for videos of you to be placed in public.
It is tough to search through all of the possible (for instance) "Dewey" movies to see the one that you wanted to see.
It is purely for entertainment, in my opinion and I worry about how easily personal pictures/videos can be put on the internet these days.
Also on a side note...I could not view You Tube from the work computers as it wouldn't allow this function.
